KSTAR’s weekday programming schedule includes fun and interactive entertainment with our live DJs and “The Best Mix in Country Music” to keep our listeners tuning in. Our MORNING DRIVE (6A to 10A) team features Brave Dave and Lisa Christi, otherwise known as “The Funny Farm,” and Beth O’Brien who is on hand to deliver up-to-the-minute local news, traffic and weather. The COUNTRY CLASSIC SHOW (10A TO 12P) with Larry Galla and Mary McCoy, BOTH members of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame AND recently named Texas DJs of the year by the Texas Country Music Association, highlights the artists of the 60s, 70s, and 80s and reminds us that “classic” doesn’t mean “out of style.” Our MID-DAY (12P TO 3P) DJ, Brad Witt, helps the work day go by faster with over 30 years of radio experience. Our AFTERNOON DRIVE (3P to 7P) has Bobby Douglas acting as your copilot to help you navigate your way through the herds of fellow commuters, along with News Director Beth O’Brien who provides current traffic and weather conditions, keeps you informed and gets you home safe and sound. The KSTAR EVENING SHOW (7P TO MIDNIGHT) hosted by Jim Powers, takes your calls on the KSTAR Hotline and spins the music you want to hear. Our weekend programming includes live hosting from Crazy Ray, Johnny Barton, Dave Horton, Kelly McClain and Cindy Bell and feature programs such as “The Taste of Texas” with Lisa Christi (Saturdays 10P to Midnight), Texas Outdoors News and Outdoor Trails (Sundays 6A to 8A), Country Classic Show with Larry and Mary (Sundays 8A to 10A), Real Life Real Music with Kyle Hutton (Sundays 6P to 7P), and the Overnight mix (12M to 6A) with Johnny Barton.
