On the Kstar Country Classics Show this Sunday our Spotlight Segment features an artist who will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this October. An entertainer, who as a little boy spent several years in foster homes, and orphanages,  but it never dampened his spirit, because he was always saying that when he grows up, he’s going to be a star in Nashville! He was right! He’s known mostly for his novelty songs, but he got his first job in the music business because of his guitar-playing talents, in fact, he plays guitar on a couple of songs he wrote, that Elvis recorded. Find out more Sunday. Our Email of the Week combines romance with a CB radio, and Mary’s “Girl In A Song” pays tribute to Sally. Plus, you’ll hear songs that went to the top of the charts for Marty Robbins, Eddy Arnold, Ray Price, and Jimmy Wakely. All this and lots more, including our Sunday Funny which involves a phone conversation. It’s the Kstar Country Classics Show, Sunday morning, 8-10, on 99.7FM and kstarcountry.com
